Take metal turbo pipe off (alloy intake) Take off black box (resonator) that metal turbo intake pipe joins. The belt tensioner is behind the resonator. Once the resonator is removed, use a socket on the tensioner to gain slack. There should be a pin hole to lock off the tensioner to facilitate a belt change. The new belt is still tight to get on.

It is isolated from the 2 other Buses so as you say you would need to get at the connections elsewhere. The other buses are one off Can C and one off Can B. The second relay from the hinge end (the first may be an empty socket) is for the fog lights. The 30 connection is the one most forward and to the left in the relay socket while the 87 connection is most rearward and to the right of the in the relay socket.
