Take metal turbo pipe off (alloy intake) Take off black box (resonator) that metal turbo intake pipe joins. The belt tensioner is behind the resonator. Once the resonator is removed, use a socket on the tensioner to gain slack. There should be a pin hole to lock off the tensioner to facilitate a belt change. The new belt is still tight to get on.

It makes a loud sort of knocking sound, this stop immediately I either lift my foot off or keep it still. It loudest when the revs are around 1500 - 2000 and makes the noise if the engine
