Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013) Mk2 FL Bluetooth. Hi all After much searching, I can’t seem to find a definitive answer…. I have a 2010 FL vRS CR170 DSG with Bolero entertainment system and Maxidot. The Bluetooth module (5N0 035 730 fitted under the drivers seat works, but the 2010 system doesn’t like my 2020 iPhone.

Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013) Parrot Hands Free Battery Drain ? I've got a 2007 Octy 2.0 TDI with battery problems - not enough in the battery to start the car after a couple of days. Dealer is saying that my Parrot hands free maybe causing the problem in that it does not allow the car to go into sleep mode and is thus draining the battery.
you can programme the central locking part of the key with vcds, which you could pick up second hand, but you'll need to go to main steeler for the top part of the key ie the blade and the transponder . some independent key places maybe able to cut you a key and programme it, but they would need to have the expensive equipment that skoda/ vw

The phone button would just link to the bluetooth, I believe, and allow you to control (dial, answer, etc) via the BT module. Posted 30 November, 2010. Also have empty squares on Maxidot instead of battery and media player icons. VCDS also shows an open-cicicuit fault. Some people locate the module in the dash end panel with the fuse box, be sure to check there too. A lot of people now have access to App based diagnostics, it is possible a previous owner enabled Bluetooth in the hope it would work (hence the listing in the on-screen menu) but didn't install the module and microphone.

Not sure what use that would be. It appears to be a bluetooth unit for streaming music somehow, but how effective it would be I don't know. Try starting it from scratch, so make sure it's not paired by Bluetooth, on the mib2 that smartlink is configured as MirrorLink (in the smartlink menu), on the iPhone go to settings and general, CarPlay, select usb only, and also click the ! Next to any cars and "forget" them.
Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > ) More infotainment troubles. I'm still enjoying my new VRS despite all the annoyances related to the Infotainment system, which in opinion (and that of many others it seems) is badly designed, slow and unreliable. I thought I'd perhaps share my latest problem and the solution I found - in case it helps anyone else.
